Ready checklist from the breeder.
⠀1. Food. Dry, wet, or natural - you choose. But in the beginning (1 or 2 months) only use what's recommended by the breeder. You can change it later, but slowly.
⠀2. Two bowls. One deep, heavy, ceramic for water, the second for food.
⠀3. The cat's toilet. It is best to use a covered tray. Cats, like humans, love comfort and convenience. Some individuals refuse to cope with observers. The tray should be spacious so that the cat does not have to leave it backwards. Set the tray in a quiet, peaceful place. And do not forget that access to the toilet should be 24/7.
⠀4. Filler. Another important attribute of happy coexistence. Buy the filler that the breeder uses or advises. The breeder is the last person in this world who wants the kitten to have an accident on the rug by the door.
⠀5. Scoop for cleaning the tray. No, this is not nonsense and not overkill. The choice of a scoop should not be thoughtlessly approached. Each type of filler has its own type of scoop. For example, for clay, you should choose a durable scoop.
⠀6. Claws. A scratching post (or play house) is a "must have". Without it, your furniture, in a matter of seconds, will change become a scratching posts.
⠀7. Carrying. Carrying should be convenient for both you and the cat. The main requirement is that the cat could lie in it. Comfortably lie down. And it must be closed.
